I had a great morning in the park with Zahida and Abi and their sweet new daughter, Annika! Abi sent me the following note afterwards:
JB, hope you are well. I just wanted to let you know how much we love the pics of our family you took a few months ago! They are just delightful and am grateful you were able to do it! Sincere thanks again, Abi :)

Lauren & Kyle - Wedding
The lovely Lauren & Kyle's wedding photos, as captioned by the Bride & Groom themselves:
Lauren a little too excited getting her makeup done. Christie Lee did an amazing job on all the ladies.
Jeff Chastain, hair stylist, topping the bridal confection.
Taking off the jewelry for its own glamour shot.
It takes a village to get a bride into 6-inch heels.
Mother-daughter love.
Dad practicing the unveiling (this took a few tries). His hair looks pretty sharp tho. Jeff, our fearless hair stylist, blew out my Dad's hair and slicked it back.
Rehearsing the father-daughter kiss. Mom approves.
Trixie, our wedding officiant, gets her makeup done by Jon Carter, the amazing hair and makeup stylist.
Two different species of woMan.
The band leads the wedding guests up to Linden Terrace. Follow the music!
The bridal party rushing (as fast you can in those heels) into place.
Weddings in the park bring unexpected guests (see background family).
The lovely bridesmaids in all their shades of green glory.
Our favorite shot. It looks like a painting. So majestic and beautiful. Trixie looks like a goddess.
Laughing with our guests. I think a car alarm had just gone off and we had started a mini dance break to the beat.
Pulling out my grandmother's handkerchief, stashed in my dress in case of tears. There were many happy tears.
Newlywed Kiss!
Beautiful Fort Tryon Park.
Walking back to the reception. Our last calm moment together.
Our vendors did an incredible job. Cary Pereyra was our florist and Alisa Donahue our papergoods designer.
So incredibly happy and in love.
No idea what's going on here, but it was clearly hilarious!
Kyle throws his head back for a good laugh.
Another favorite shot of the night. Really captures the excitement and beauty of the whole evening.
Kissing...again!
Brothers in-law having a moment.
Our first dance to "La vie en rose", played live by our amazing accordion player. Priceless.
Clockwise, from top left: Trixie vogue-ing, Bride and Groom freaking, Parents of the bride jumping, wedding guests raising the roof.
Love.
Father-daughter dance to "The Way You Look Tonight".
Big dip!
More crazy dance party. The lower right was accompanied by Cee Lo's "F**k You", which helps explain the gestures.
Riding off into the night in Penelope Crabtree's expertly maintained and driven, 1963 Mercury Comet!
